"The day after our wedding, the comment we heard the most wasn't "The food tasted great," or "The flowers looked really nice." It was: "The music was sooo good!" Santiago really set an amazing tone for the reception and I'll never forget how much fun it was to dance to the music that night. When my husband and I first met Santiago to discuss our wedding music, who was referred to us by our wedding planner, he understood what we wanted right away. We told him we wanted a mix of classic rock/motown/funk/indie and talked about the bands that we like and what kind of atmosphere we wanted to create. Santiago also had a couple great recommendations for how to set the right mood for different points in the evening (during the cocktail reception, for example) that we had not thought of. He told us to send him any songs we definitely wanted to be played so he could sort them into the mix that night. We could tell that Santiago knew a lot about music and felt really happy and confident with our decision after we met and talked for the first time. We wanted our reception to feel like a fun party that made everyone want to dance -- and that's exactly what happened! Santiago was in tune with the crowd and knew exactly when to turn up the energy and when to slow things down a bit.
